Welcome to Lacey, Washington!
If you are visiting me from out of town, first of all, thank you! I appreciate you traveling to see me for your tattoo. I have put together this ever updating list of things to do here in the Olympia/Lacey area. I am still discovering new places and will keep adding things to this list. Some of these will be my favorites or little hidden gems that I love. Please enjoy and let me know if you try anything during your stay!
A little bit about Lacey…
It is important to note first off that this is a different environment than any big cities- we want a slower pace of life and you’ll earn more respect by locals if you’re nice and courteous and take your time with things. If you go on a walk, smiling and saying hi to people is a normal thing as you walk by them (If they don’t smile or say hi back, they’re probably not from here, haha). The highways are 45 mph in town, however a lot of people not from here will blast through going 60+. Again, gain some respect and avoid a ticket by just going the posted speed limits throughout town.
