Q. Do you have a cancellation list?
A. I no longer have a list - it was getting to cause more of a headache to have one than to not. I just post on instagram if there's an opening.
Q. Why do I have to submit a photo of the area I want tattooed?
A. I need to be able to see the area you want the tattoo for several reasons - shape, size of the area, skin tone, surrounding tattoos, etc. When you attach the photo of the area, make sure I can see from joint to joint. For example, if you want a tattoo on your forearm, have someone else take a picture of your arm from at least your elbow to your wrist. This gives me some perspective of the shape of your arm and how much real estate we are working with. It is a crucial part in making sure I design something that fits your body well. I can only draw the shape of the tattoo as well as you take the picture - so make sure someone takes it straight on rather than a selfie!!!
Q. Can I have a consultation?
A. I only do consultations for larger scale pieces like sleeves/back pieces, etc. If it is a cover up I will always want a consult so I can see the old tattoo in person. I highly encourage you to make sure you have included all details in your email that you want me to know about your tattoo idea, so that I can design something you will love.
Q. Will you do black and grey?
A. Absolutely! Request away!
Q. What happens after I send you an email on your booking date?
A. You will receive an automated email confirming that I have received your request. If I am able to book you, I will email you back and begin the scheduling process!
If chosen to book with me, you will be asked to send a deposit, and you will be emailed appointment dates based on your availability.
I will roughly guesstimate how many sessions we should start with and book those. I tend to book a little more than we need as it is easier to cancel one we don't need, then trying to find another date when my schedule is packed.
For multi session pieces, I prefer to have at least a 6-8 weeks in between each appointment. This allows a good amount of time for healing, but also ensures that I have a more limited amount of ongoing projects at the same time.
You will receive my full policies with all the rest of the info you will need, once you pay your deposit.
